I would like to bring attention to another Viner who is going through an unjust and likely illegal home foreclosure. I think it seems to her that she is one person against the world.

What I would like to ask from you is for you to stop by her pages and maybe offer some advice that could help her out, or at least offer her some moral support. Maybe someone has some legal advice that she is not aware of? It is much easier going through something like this with other people at least giving you moral support.

The pages she has posted which tell about her predicament are listed below. Thanks!

I wish I could help her. Amazing lady and her story is not uncommon. Those that cry about to much regulation and / or blocking consumer protections are not supporting this nation or its recovery.

The truth of the matter is that we need more regulation, not less.

The details are foggy at best in this explanation McSpocky. Many of us work in the Financial sector and could advise but this one looks more like Attorney time.

She could declare a Chap.7 or 13 bankruptcy. She would lose the house with a Chap.7, but her debts would be cleared, or do a Chap.13 Debt reorganization and keep the home. The liens against the property might be a problem, so I would go to the county treasurer and find out who has potential leans against the property. A lawyer is definitely needed to navigate this mess.

Stay strong. Get a lawyer and don't let them bully you into thinking you have no choice but to give up.
